The seminar was an ad hoc meeting to explore different approaches to
behaviourally realistic policy modelling. Scott Moss gave a
presentation on evidence-based, agent-based policy modelling using and
reporting on OCOPOMO Project software and outputs from the prototype
macroeconomic model. He also demonstrated project software which he
used to produce a small analysis and of an issue of current interest to
DEFRA: policies for licensing water abstraction from rivers, aquafers
and groundwater.
