DEFRA Seminar on policy modelling
The meeting was sponsored by and held at the UK Department of Farming, the Environment and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) in London to explore different approaches to behaviourally realistic policy modelling.

The seminar was an ad hoc meeting to explore different approaches to behaviourally realistic policy modelling. Scott Moss gave a presentation on evidence-based, agent-based policy modelling using and reporting on OCOPOMO Project software and outputs from the prototype macroeconomic model. He also demonstrated project software which he used to produce a small analysis and of an issue of current interest to DEFRA: policies for licensing water abstraction from rivers, aquafers and groundwater.
