Nested scenario, sub-scenario, scenario element: These are different terms all referring to documents that describe actors, policies and/or institutions; the behaviour of actors, the reasons why and the conditions in which they undertake particular actions or make particular decisions. The content of these documents is used to inform the participatory scenario and the design of the simulation model.
