The Campania Regional administration has vast experience in managing European Funds. It manages the local Regional Operational Programme, part of the 3rd Community Support Framework, amounting to EUR 3.825 billion. Special emphasis is placed on integrated development projects providing for enhanced upgrading of local potential through synergy. Its priorities include Natural resources (improvements to water resources, soil and coastline protection, upgrading of natural areas, waste processing and energy management (especially renewable resources), Cultural resources (Enhancement of the region's cultural resources as a factor contributing to its economic and social development.), Local development systems, Cities and Networks and service hubs.

Role in the Project:

Campania region will support in the definition of user requirements (e.g. through surveys), test the policy model in the pilot case, participate to dissemination
