WP 02 - Architectural design of IT solution
In order to do it, first, it is necessary to investigate the user requirements from work package 1 and identify relevant technical areas related to policy modelling, scenario development and open collaboration. State of the art of tools and technologies within the identified thematic areas will form one of sources for subsequent design of components necessary to meet users' functional as well as non-functional requirements. Those requirements are expected to be covered by a developed platform architecture and its well formed functional components. A formal methodology for architecture design providing a methodical and systematic way for the design together with the subsequent architecture validation are expected to guarantee the quality of the architecture specification. In order to reflect requirements of the architecture on subsequent development process, a development infrastructure will be specified and put in place.
