According to the 9th eGovernment benchmarking report by the European Commission, Austrian public administrators offer 100% of the “20 basic public services” online. Over 75% of Austrian companies already use eGovernment services regularly, and an increasing number of citizens are now electronic customers.

Austria has proven to be the leading nation in the eGovernment sector in Europe. The integration of all citizens, data protection management and customer orientation are top priority. Austrian public administrators and service providers have a wealth of experience in designing, developing, implementing and operating successful eGovernment projects.

The Cooperation Forum with a focus on eGovernment is targeted at public administrators, service
providers, companies and potential purchasers from all over the world who work in the following
areas or who offer similar products:

  • Central register (Registry of residents, land registry, commercial register)
  • Identification (identity cards, mobile signatures etc.)
  • Usability and web accessibility (WAI)
